AVSP values the safety of each community member. Individuals that participate in certain fitness programs will be required to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) form prior to participation.

Take advantage of this free assessment for members new to fitness or seasoned athletes. During your assessment, you and your Certified Personal Trainer will discuss specific fitness goals, health history, dietary habits, current exercise routine, and your mindset. Your CPT will also take you through specific exercises in order to assess your current fitness level. Take advantage of this free assessment for members new to fitness or seasoned athletes. During your assessment, you and your Certified Personal Trainer will discuss specific fitness goals, health history, dietary habits, your current exercise routine, and your mindset. Your CPT will also take you through specific fitness testing to assess your current fitness level. Based on your results, they will make recommendations about which Personal Training package can best help you reach your goals!

InBody 230 Body Composition Analyzer

This analysis provides a snapshot of a person's lean muscle mass, body water and body fat percentage. Knowing your internal makeup is the most important factor in achieving ideal body composition. This non-invasive, in-depth analysis will provide a detailed printout and results interpretation by a Certified Personal Trainer. The analysis will produce the following measurements in less than 5 minutes:

Exceed Foundations
  • $99- members & new clients only
    An introduction to Personal Training program worth $180. Includes:
    • 1 hour fitness assessment and an introduction to the proper form and use of the equipment.
    • Two ½ hour sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer
       
  • Online Personal Training
  • Partner Training
  • Small Group Online Training
     
  • For those looking for a more intense, shorter workout we offer our Express Sessions that are 30 minute high intensity bouts that are perfect for increasing cardiovascular endurance, improving body composition, and testing your fitness levels.
     
  • The 1–hour Traditional Session of individualized personal training is perfect for those wanting to increase their lean, skeletal muscle mass or for individuals in need of gaining strength and stability.
     
  • Partner Training is perfect for members who would like to share the experience with a friend or relative. These sessions are also an hour in length. Get ready to sweat together!
     
  • Small Group Training is an affordable and great way to share your fitness experience with 2-4 other friends/family members!  These sessions are an hour long.
 
Personal Training Subscriptions
AVSP offers Personal Training Subscriptions to all members! Subscriptions are designed for those who are dedicated to achieving their fitness goals, committed to consistent personal training and who want to be held accountable. Most importantly, the subscription program makes personal training more affordable by providing manageable monthly payments!

AVSP has many fitness programs designed specifically for the kids, pre-teens, and teens of the community. The complete youth fitness schedule can be viewed by clicking the Fitness Schedule link on the left-side of the page.
 
 
Teen Weight Training Certification: The "do's and don'ts" of fitness and weight training. This is a one-day course and teens must demonstrate competency on the equipment and pass a written quiz. After completing this course, teenagers, aged 12-15, may use the fitness center with parental supervision or during the designated "Teen Workout" times (PT/Fitness Attendant-supervised).

Cost: $35- members only 
 
Teen Weight Training Workout Days/Times: Monday - Thursday 8a-10a
 
Teenagers between the ages of 12-15, are able to use the weight room & cardio area under the supervision of one of our Personal Trainers or Fitness Attendants during the designated time if they are teen weight trained certified.
 
  • Teens must have a Parental Signed waiver on file and review the updated Social Distancing and COVID related policies in place. 
  • Teens must pick-up a wristband from the AVSP Front Desk upon arrival for Teen Workout.
 
Note: Any time outside of the designated hours, teens must be accompanied by and within visual/audible distance of a parent or guardian at all times on the gym floor.
 
Teens ages 12-15 must have successfully completed the Teen Weight Training Certification in order to participate.

AVSP offers a variety of active adult classes to both members and non-members of the community. Non-members must pay $10/class to participate. Payment can be made at the AVSP Front Desk upon arrival for class. Classes designated as Active Adult include:
  • Aqua Exercise
  • Developmental Senior Strength & Balance
  • Beginner Senior Strength & Balance
  • Mobility/Stability
  • Line Dance for Fitness

Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion values the safety of each community member. Every individual that participates in the personal training program, any fee-based fitness class and/or the teen weight training program at the Sports Pavilion will be required to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) form prior to participation. Legal guardians of participants under the age of 18 will be required to complete the form. The PAR-Q is a screening tool that is commonly used by fitness professionals to determine the safety or possible risk of exercising for an individual based upon answers to the specific health history questions on the form. AVSP is able to better serve the community and increase safety of program participants by utilizing the PAR-Q form.
