11:30am Senior Strength and Balance Class at AVSP

12:30pm  Holiday Social  at the Mills 43895 Grottoes Dr.

 We’ll provide the entrees and non alcoholic beverages, you bring a side or dessert to share.  There will also be raffles and other goodies given away.

Please RSVP so we may plan accordingly. 

The social event will take place on Thursday December 6th at the Mills at 12:30pm, following the Strength and Balance Class at the Sports Pavilion (you can drop your dish off before the class anytime after 11am at The Mills). 

  Free for members, $10/guests.  We also ask you bring canned food item(s) so we can donate them to the Loudoun Hunger Relief.

AVSP is rolling out the red carpet for Santa’s arrival! The Ashburn Volunteer Fire Department will be escorting Santa Claus to the Pavilion for a Christmas Party. Santa and his elves are expected to arrive in style. Enjoy free hot chocolate while enjoying a viewing of "The Polar Express" in the gym, while you wait.

The party will start at 6pm and Santa’s ETA is 6:40pm.  Bring any NEW, UNWRPAPED and UN-OPENED toys or gifts to donate to Toys for Tots!

Awards will go to the top three in two categories (Single Family & Multi/Townhouse) and one “Best Block”. The winners, plus other registered homes and noteworthy blocks will be printed on a map.

Maps will be available at the Sports Pavilion by December 11th. 

Deadline for contest submission is December 6th.

We encourage neighbors to coordinate their efforts to decorate a whole block together.   If a home is not entered, we might miss it!  Be sure to get out there, this season, and catch your neighbors’ beautiful displays! We recommend using timers so your lights to

come on at dusk every day.
