Fincastle Field Grand Opening
Join Ashburn Village as we unveil and celebrate the brand new Fincastle Field and Sport Court, with an Ice Cream Social and a visit from The Virginia Grill Food Truck! Grab something to eat or cool off with an ice cream, compliments of the Ashburn Village Community Association.
When: Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1PM
Where: Fincastle Field, 44065 Fincastle Dr
What: Ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the brand new Fincastle Field and sport courts! Come enjoy lunch from The Virginia Grill food truck and a scoop of ice cream from The Inside Scoop! Food and ice cream will be free for residents of AVCA who attend this event.
Meet Our New School Board Member
The Ashburn Village Board of Directors is hosting a meeting with our new Broad Run district school board member Andrew Hoyler, for Ashburn Village residents only. Mr. Hoyler will be available to meet residents and answer questions. To read Andrew Hoyler's biography, CLICK HERE.

Where: Lakes Recreation Center, 44078 Cheltenham Circle and online via Zoom.
Ashburn Village Halloween Spooktacular will be held at AVSP on Sunday, October 24th from 6pm-7:30pm. Join us in your costume for a spooky scavenger hunt and treats! We have over 70lbs of candy to hand out! For more info, view the flier HERE. Please note that AVSP will close early at 5pm to finish preparing for the event.
Help us pick winners from this years Halloween House Decorating Contest. You can view the submissions HERE and vote by using THIS LINK. Voting ends at midnight on Wednesday 10/27.
Last weekend's Declutter event was fantastic, thank you for everyone who held a yard sale and came to the donation portion. We collected 603 gallons of old paint and filled the entire shredder truck and electronic donation truck.

We are looking for community members to join our Events Committee. The committee meets monthly via zoom to discuss upcoming events, make suggestions and share ideas. Do you want to learn to play pickle ball? The Woods courts are now multi-purpose for tennis and pickle ball. AVCA bought movable pickleball nets and painted lines on each side of the 3 tennis courts at the Woods Rec Center to create 6 pickleball courts. Members of the Racquet Sports Committee are eager for you to use this new equipment and try this popular sport.
We will be hosting Members Teaching Members Pickleball events on the following Sundays from 1 - 2 PM:
If you are interested in learning how to play this fast-growing sport, contact Susan Godfrey at email@example.com. In your email, please specify the date you would like to attend. To attend you must be an adult (over 18 years) and be a member of AVSP in good standing. Please bring your membership card when you show up to prove residency. Paddles and balls will be provided. Hope to see you on the courts!!!
- AVSP will close at 5pm this Sunday 10/24 to finish preparing for the Halloween Spooktacular. We hope to see you at the event!
- The Tennis bubble is up and will be open for rentals starting Monday 10/25. For info on how to reserve courts please check the Upcoming Events tab on the website.
- LCPS NO SCHOOL CAMPS October 29th, November 1st, 2nd, and 4th from 8am-6pm
- $50 per day for one child; Sibling $45, if you sign up for ALL 4 days you will receive 25% off
- Camp includes: Gym Games, Outside Play (pending weather) Art and Crafts, Afternoon Free Swim, two snacks and Movie to finish off the day
