Hello and Happy Friday

Community Policing Alert
Our Ashburn Village Community Policing Officer sent the HOA office an email regarding the rise of theft in our area.
Residents are leaving their garage doors open at night. This is easy access for thieves.
Front porch lights and house lights are burnt out or not working.
There has been a rise in thefts from unsecured vehicles and garages in Loudoun County recently.
Since Jan 1, there have been 9 firearms stolen from unsecured vehicles in Loudoun County.
We encourage all residents to have a routine of checking your doors, turning on your lights and securing your home and vehicles for the evening. #9PMRoutine

The Board and Management are starting to gear up for warmer weather. Spring is coming!

Beech Dam
Loudoun County has contractors onsite this week repairing Beech Dam. They are digging and installing a French drain to go along the dam and under the asphalt trail into the lake. This will fix the leaking issue.
Thank you for your patience we hope to have this project completed within the next 2 weeks.

Problem Areas
During the snow storm we received emails from homeowners regarding water collecting on sidewalks and some areas of the trails. We have made a list of these areas and will begin repairs in the next month.
We appreciate your patience.

Covenants Department
Our Covenants team has started the annual reviews. You will see them out over the next couple of months. Information about the review process and what zone we're working on is available on our website, right from the Homepage ashburnvillage.org.

Aquatics
The Indoor Pavilion pool is open to swim for all homeowners here in Ashburn Village. There are 3 lanes open and reserved for homeowners to use. If you are looking for something to do over the weekend bring the kids and swim. We only allow 5 people per lane and the pool is never busy! Click on the link for the swim team practices. Even with the 3 lanes designated to the practices there are always 3 lanes open for homeowners. Winter 2021 Pool Schedule
Our group swim program is now monthly. You may enroll in the program at any time, to enroll or have a swim evaluation please contact Kristina Hart khart@ashburnvillage.org

We have started the white coating on the outdoor pool at AVSP. This process needs to be done every few years to help protect the integrity of the pool lining.
