Posted on Jul 29th, 2014

This free event will be held from noon to 4PM and will feature Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office vehicles, a K-9 Unit, Leesburg Fire and Rescue vehicles, Leesburg Police vehicles, and the DMV2GO.

Stop by and visit displays from the LCSO, FBI, Inova Pediatrics, Loudoun Commonwealth Attorney, Loudoun Child Protective Services, Loudoun Child Advocacy Center, Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, the Loudoun Crime Commission and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Many of the displays at Child Safety Day will provide information to parents on how they can protect their child from becoming a victim of a crime.

The event will also include live entertainment, a moon bounce and games!

Child Safety Day was first held in 2012 and was a safety initiative developed by Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman as a way to reach out to parents and children alike with a family friendly event.

Village at Leesburg is located at 1602 Village Market Boulevard in Leesburg, VA.
