Indoor Tennis Flights - Fall 2010
Fall Indoor Tennis Flights will run September 20 - December 18. Click here to download the Flights Registration Form. 

To play in an AVSP flight you must be a resident (residents receive priority registration) or a non-resident tennis member.  To register, drop off your registration form at the AVSP Front Desk before August 17.

This Fall we will offer the following flights/times:
2.5 Women:                 Mondays 11:30am-1pm
2.5/3.0 Women:           Thursdays 8pm-10pm
3.0 Women:                 Tuesdays 11:30am-1pm
3.0 Women:                 Thursdays 11:30am-1pm
3.5 Women:                 Wednesdays 11:30am-1pm
4.0+ Women:               Fridays 11:30am-1pm
Unrated Women:         Saturdays 2pm-4pm
Men's Singles:            Sunday 12pm-2pm  
Men's Top Gun:           Mondays 8pm-10pm
Men's 3.0/3.5:             Wednesdays 8pm-10pm
 
USTA Singles/Mixed Doubles Teams - Starting Aug. 2010
To join a Singles (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5) or Mixed Doubles Team (6.5, 7.5, 8.5) please sign up at the AVSP Front Desk before August 20 or contact Melissa Miller at tennis@ashburnvillage.org.  Teams are forming now and we are in need of Team Captains to volunteer!  The winning team for Singles and Mixed Doubles advances to the District Tournament.   
 
Indoor Contract Time - Contracts Accepted Now
We are currently accepting contracts for the Indoor Bubble Season!  To submit a contract you must be a resident or current non-resident tennis member.  For information about available days/times please contact Jennifer Douglas at jdouglas@ashburnvillage.org.
 
Fall Program Schedule - September 2010
The Fall Tennis Program begins September 13 when our Indoor Bubble opens!  Registration for adult programs opens August 15 (residents) and August 20 (non-resident tennis members).  Your membership renewal is required before registration.  Visit the AVSP website to download a copy of the Fall schedule or stop by the front desk to pick up a copy.

JUNIOR TENNIS

Summer Camp - Final Weeks
There are two more full weeks of Summer Camp (to be held at the Sports Pavilion).  Session 9: Aug 16-19 and Session 10:  Aug 23-26.  Session 9 is the last of the Tennis for Tots (ages 4-5) camp.  Space is still available - Sign up at the AVSP Front Desk!
 

Fall Junior Tennis Program
The next Junior Tennis program starts September 20 and runs for 6-weeks.  Registration opens Aug 9 for residents and Aug 16 for non-resident tennis members.  A membership renewal is required to register.  This session will offer a *new* tournament training session designed specifically for middle school aged players.  Check out the registration flyer by clicking here.  For more information email Melissa Miller at tennis@ashburnvillage.org.
