One of the largest communities in Northern Virginia.
Ashburn Village offers 5071 residential units comprised of single family homes, town homes, condominiums, age-restricted condominiums and town homes, and apartments. Opened in 1988, construction in Ashburn Village is almost complete with just one section of residential development currently under construction and two parcels for commercial / retail construction. When fully built the community will have approximately 2.5 million square feet of planned commercial and office space. Presently a 200,000 square foot retail space, known as the Ashburn Village Center, provides for shopping and services within minutes of all residents.
Located approximately 33 miles west of Washington, DC. and only minutes from Dulles International Airport, the community features many resident amenities such as neighborhood community centers with outdoor pools, tennis, basketball, multipurpose courts, and meeting rooms. The community also offers 8 tot lots, miles of jogging and bike trails, baseball and soccer fields, a fit trail (to open in the Fall of 2013), 2 elementary schools ,1 middle school, as well as over 500 acres of open outdoor space with 8 lakes and ponds for fishing and canoeing.
The Association hosts many community events such as a brilliant display of fireworks on Lake Ashburn in the month of July, VillageFest, a Family Fun Run, Kids Triathlon, Santa Parade, Halloween Party,Shred events, community Yard Sales, and summer Movie Nights by the Lake.
The Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion is the hallmark of the Ashburn Village Community and the home of the Blue Wave Swim Team. The facility offers an Indoor Pool with Steam and Sauna rooms, Spin room, Aerobic room, Free Weight and Cardio area, Racquetball Courts, Full Gym, Kids Zone, Multipurpose room as well as year round Tennis. The Pavilion offers a multitude of programs and events for members and non-members which include Swim and Tennis lessons, a multitude of aerobic, strength and toning classes, Children programs, Senior programs and much much more.
TOWN HALL MEETING - December 16, 2013 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
There will be a Town Hall Meeting on December 16, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Lakes Recreation Center for all Ashburn Village homeowners who are interested in hearing about the upcoming landscaping revitalization work that will be performed around Adler, Beech, and Cedar Lakes. Revitalization work will include new landscaping around Cedar and additional cleanup of the vegetation around the shorelines of all three lakes/ponds to include removal of some trees deemed necessary by a certified arborist. Trees scheduled for removal will be tagged with an orange ribbon 14 days before the meeting.
SNOW! Who Plows What?
Since we have had our first snow and more snow is on the way, please take a few moments to review the Association's Snow Removal Policy. This policy also includes the county ordinance for removing snow from sidewalks located in front of residents' properties.
1. Snow removal in Ashburn Village is provided by different agencies or organizations depending on location and ownership
a. Private streets and courts belonging to the Association are the responsibility of the Association. A list of these streets and courts can be found in the Association's Snow Removal Policy.
b. Private streets and courts belonging to other sub associations or corporations are the responsibility of the owner. These include Ashburn Meadows Apartments, Four Seasons Condominiums, Lakeshore Condominiums, Saddle Ridge Apartments, Wingler House (both east and west), the Daycare Centers, the Church, the Schools, and the Ashburn Village Shopping Center.
c. State maintained streets are the responsibility of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). All streets and courts in Ashburn Village that are not listed in in the Snow Removal Policy or included in paragraph 1(b) above belong to VDOT.
2. The standards for snow removal are set independently by each owner and may not be the same as those set by other owners. Concerns about snow removal should be directed as shown below:

c. Other streets and courts - Please directly contact the management company for that property.
