Covenants Administration

In Ashburn Village, the Covenants Department supports the Architectural and Environmental Review Committee (AERC) and oversees the processes, policies, and procedures established by the AVCA Governing Documents and the Board of Directors.  This department also makes certain that Association rules and regulations are consistent with state statutes, including the Virginia Condominium Act, Virginia Property Owners Act, and the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act.  All homeowner matters involving exterior change applications and inquiries, property inspections, and property violations are managed within this department.

Exterior changes to single family homes and town homes located in Ashburn Village require Association approval prior to installation.  Applications forms can be found here:  Documents & Forms.  If you need a copy of your property plat, please contact the Loudoun County Clerk of the Circuit Court at 703-777-0270.

In addition, the Covenants Department provides a homeowner who is selling their property with an Association Disclosure Package.  This package is a requirement of the Virginia Property Owners Act and contains information about the community that must be disclosed by the seller to the purchaser.  Email inquiries about the disclosure process can be sent to avca@ashburnvillage.org or you may call 703-723-7910.
