Swim, bike and run in the annual Asbhurn Village Kid's Triathlon. Swim laps in the AVSP Outdoor Pool, bike around the lake and run on a marked course starting and ending at the Sports Pavilion. Kids, ages 6-15, of all levels are encouraged to compete. All participants will receive a participation medal and prizes will be award for winners in the following age groups 6-8, 9-11, and 12-15 years.
Each age group will be participating in the event as follows:
Ages 6-8: 50 meter swim / 1 mile bike* / 1 mile run
Ages 9-11: 100 meter swim / 2 mile bike* / 2 mile run
Ages 12-15: 150 meter swim / 3 mile bike* / 2 mile run
* Bike helmets are mandatory for the bike portion of the event. Participants must have their own bike and a basic knowledge of how to swim. Aquatic staff will be on deck but not in the water.

Early Bird, Before August 1st:

- Non Members $25
- Relay Members $30**

Late Bird, August 1st-19th:
- Members $30
- Non Members $35
- Relay Members $40**

**Relay Teams: If completing registration online, please register only 1 of the relay team members. Submit completed registration forms for all 3 participants to Fitness Director. Each registration form should indicate which portion of the triathlon each participant will be completing (i.e. swim, bike or run).
Kid's Triathlon 2016 volunteers needed!
To ensure the success and safety of the event, approximately 30 volunteers (ages 16+) are needed. To volunteer for this event, click here

Bring your Furry Friend out for a Dip in the AVSP Outdoor Pool!
$10 per dog
Registration is available in advance at the AVSP Front Desk and will also be available at the door. Owners will be required to sign a waiver, provide a current certificate of rabies inoculation, and a current Loudoun County dog license at registration. During the event, the tag must be securely attached and visible on the collar of each participating dog. All owners must have pooper-scoopers or doggie doodle bags and will be required to clean up after their dogs as required by both AVCA guidelines and Loudoun County regulations. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For every person’s and every dog’s safety, all dogs MUST remain on a leash at all times when not in pool.
Participate with hundreds of your neighbors by setting up in your yard or driveway. Directional flyers may be posted the evening before the event but must be removed no later than 6:00PM on Sept. 11th. Use the form below to register and provide us with your address and categories to be listed on our yard sale map. Maps will be available at the AVCA office (44025 Courtland Drive) and at the Sports Pavilion on Thursday, Sept. 8th. The rain date is published in the advertising. If rain, option to use the rain date left to seller.

- Shred truck at The Lakes from 1pm-4pm
- Donation truck at The Lakes from 1pm-2pm
Join us for “Trunk or Treat Event”! Come tour the Spooky Lakes grounds and Jack-o-Lantern Alley. Enjoy refreshments, music, crafts, & Creepy Characters. Costumes are a Must!
- Trunk or Treat is limited to 12 vehicles, first come, first serve basis. The cost to hold your spot is $10 ($10 worth of candy will be provided on the day of to cover the cost).
