The community's three neighborhood recreation centers, The Lakes, The Mills, and The Woods, each offer meeting rooms, an outdoor pool with adjacent wading pool, tennis, basketball, and multipurpose courts. The meeting rooms in each center can be rented for just about any occasion. The Lakes, Mills, and Woods Recreation Rooms are available to rent from 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. every day of the year unless otherwise noted 'Reserved'. Online room reservation is not available at this time. To book a room, homeowners must come by the Association office and present proof of Ashburn Village property ownership.
NOTE: Only residents of Ashburn Village who's association dues are in good standing may rent the recreation centers.
A new Recreation Center Contract became effective on OCTOBER 1, 2007. Listed below are the changes, noted in bold, that the Board of Directors approved at their July meeting.
Security Deposit - Also, if the homeowner uses the room they reserved for a duration that goes beyond the hours stipulated in their contract, monies for that amount shall be taken from their deposit and the renter shall not be able to rent a facility in Ashburn Village for a period of one year.
- Added to list the Ashburn staff will check for when doing the room inspection after usage of the room are - Empty refrigerator, freezer, and wipe down both to remove any spills. Replace tables and chairs in their original locations and condition.
- Access - Rental keys that are not returned shall be charged $50.00 for the replacement of said key and shall be taken from their security deposit.
