Ashburn Village is home to eight man-made lakes and ponds that are stocked with bass, sun perch, and carp and are home to ducks, geese, herons and other wildlife.
Fishing Information:
All of the lakes and ponds of Ashburn Village except for Lake Killawog are full with a variety of fish to include large-mouth bass, sunfish, and catfish. Fishing is permitted in all lakes and ponds but is "catch and release". All lakes and ponds are Private Property and are for use by Ashburn Village residents and their guests only. A fishing license is required for all residents and their guests 16 years or older. Fishing is restricted to the hours between dawn and dusk.
Swimming and Ice Skating:
For the safety of our residents and guests, no swimming or ice skating is permitted on any of the lakes or ponds.
Manually Propelled Boats:
Canoes, kayaks, rowboats or other manually propelled boats are allowed on all lakes and ponds.
