Annual Lake "Renovational" Prunning

During the next several months (weather dependent) AVCA contractors will be conducting our annual "renovational prunning" of all AVCA lakes. This process is geared towards actively managing all growth on the lake shore lines. The goal is to keep all forms of growth maintained so as to protect the lake banks from current and future erosion, protect AVCA infastructure (i.e. walking paths, storm drains), protect residential properties and to strike a balance on the current and future growth of all landscaping to insure against future issues.

2/13/12: CLS crews will be working on our final two ponds.Heron and Killawog.

Walking Paths

Walking path work is done in conjuction with our annual Landscape Revitilization work. The trails that fall within the selected revitilization sections for landscaping are assessed and the ones in need of updating are fixed.

All 2011 walking path work is complete with the exception of one small section around Beech Lake. We will be returning in the early spring of 2012 to complete this work and to begin the assesment of the new trails that fall within the selected landscape revitilization areas for 2012. Enjoy your new paths !!

New HOA Dock

New dock behind the HOA office. The F&G Department recently removed the old failing dock behind the HOA office and replaced it with a brand new structure made of composite wood. New composite benches were added as well. It's a great place for relaxing and letting the kids fish. Come check it out.

New Indoor pool lights.

The F&G Department recently installed new LED lighting at the indoor pool. Not only is this a great new look but we managed to significantly reduce our electrical consumption by replacing the old 400 watt metal halide bulbs in all of the old fixtures with 50 watt LED bulbs for the units shining down and 25 watt LED's for the units shining up.

New Paint on all of our signage.

The F&G department recently re-painted all of our major signage throughout the Village.
