Welcome to the Ashburn Village Community Association website!  If you are a homeowner, please register so that you will have access to homeowner-only content.
AVCA is looking for homeowner volunteers for the annual elections committee.  This committee will be responsible for input on the candidate applications, proxies and questions for the candidate debate night.  The volunteers will also be asked to be present at the annual meeting which is held the third Thursday in October to count candidate ballots.  If you are available to volunteer, please email
As the first major snow storm of the season arrives, please take a few minutes to review the AVCA Snow Removal Policy.
Ashburn Village Community Association (AVCA) is responsible for clearing snow from private streets, courts, Recreational Facility parking areas, common area sidewalks and trails. The Association will sand and treat roads as conditions warrant at the discretion of management. Sidewalks adjoining and touching the property in front, rear or either side abutting homeowner’s lots are the responsibility of the homeowner. A complete list of private streets and courts can be found in the AVCA Snow Removal Policy.
AVCA is not responsible for treating or removing snow from state or county maintained (VDOT & Loudoun County) roadways. To contact VDOT please call 703-383-VDOT (8368).
Please allow at least 18 hours for every 6” of snow accumulation for the roads to be cleared. If you’re essential personnel, or are required to be available for work around the clock, please make private arrangements or park on a VDOT street.
